Why do dogs like to hug their thighs?

I don’t know if the owner has noticed, but many dogs really like to hug the owner’s thigh? Dogs often engage in this kind of “lying down” behavior among themselves.
This kind of behavior, to put it professionally, is climbing over.

Why do dogs like to hug their thighs?

Crawling behavior may seem unsightly to humans, but it is indeed a natural trait of dogs. However, due to differences in age and gender, the purpose and performance of crawling also vary:

1. Puppy: When the owner leaves for a period of time and comes home, the puppy will crawl around you, which is a manifestation of its joy and mischief. Sometimes two little male dogs also have crawling and crossing movements, which is just a game similar to children’s and a manifestation of happiness.
2. Adult dog: For adult dogs, there are generally only two reasons for climbing and crossing behavior: 1) the pampered dog uses this action to indicate its status; 2) Caused by estrus. However, this is also an instinct of dog breeding, so it’s better for everyone to be more tolerant. (Of course, if there are some dogs that are too extreme, then the owner cannot be polite~~).
